It’s a Ho-hum Day . . .

Well my belly has been a bit upset. Not sure what is the deal but feels like when I had food poisoning in 1999 when I was in NY. Ugh. Like your stomach is being stretched out. Arrrgh. I’ve also got to figure out when I’m going to stop working. I don’t know yet. I won’t be doing anymore group classes after September but I hope to be able to do my in-home lessons up through October. We’ll see, we’ll see.

I got to babysit Kelton this afternoon, tho for a few hours. He’s the sweetest thing ever. I hope my baby is that good. But I joke that he’ll be a nightmare toddler. hehehe. I had to wake him from his nap to feed him and he was so sweet. No fussing or anything, he just looked at me and blinked several times, yawned and rubbed his little eyes. Then he smiled at me as I changed his diaper. What a cutie pie. He may be small but he still likes his exersaucer and is very content while you sit down and watch him play with the stuff on there in amazement. When his daddy came home he started really smilin’. He didn’t smile that big for me.

We’ve had lots of rain. Today was the first day that the yard was dry enough for David to mow. Well attempt to mow. Our darned lawn mower has something wrong with it. So he runs it, mows what he can, stops and then waits for a while and starts it up again. That’s worked so far. But it’s the hillbillie way and I’m trying to convince him just to go get it fixed!

Did I tell you I got my vacuum back? Oh I did. It’s clean and shiny and free from dog pee. The guys at the shop said, “You know that wasn’t the first time your dog has done that. We found so much pee in there we had to soak it overnight to get it out!” I said, “Actually I know. I’ve just attempted to clean it myself before . . . ” So we have the vacuum put away safely now!

Ta-da!

Ok. I never wanted my face (or belly) on camera but I suppose I should have some picture to show the little one what her mom looked like when she was preggo. Isn’t it great what looking at a picture of yourself does to your self esteem. A real downer.
She’s kicking a lot these days. And no, we still haven’t decided on a name. We have been getting a lot of feedback from our Baby Name Poll on her website (vote if you like! click here). “Kinley” is getting some great feedback. I’m loving .style1 { font-family: Georgia; } “Zoё” for now but I seem to get a new favorite each week. Poor kid.

Wonderful Grandma and Grandpa Greer are buying us her crib this weekend! We are going for the old Jenny Lind furniture. It’s simple yet attractive. I really like it.

Abused animal, please send help . . .

Well I’m finding little Jack Russell Terrier pee in my house. Oh, yes a mother knows. It’s the little guy for sure. So this is his new wardrobe. To ward off the urge. We cut a sleeve from one of David’s shirts and it fits him like a glove.

I really can’t stop laughing and the other dogs sniff all over him and laugh at him inside. He’s quite humiliated. He even got upset at the other dogs for the mockery and growled at Noah. hahaha.

Thousands of things to do . . .

It’s late. Being 6 months pregnant I think I should be in bed. But I can’t sleep. Sleep these days is harder. I toss and turn and then find that darned clock of David’s glows too bright and then I can’t sleep. Ho-hum. . . . or I begin to clean or do work. It’s something my crazy head begins to do when I can’t sleep. Unlike my lovely husband, I don’t think sleeping is the best thing in the world and I have things I could be doing instead! David tends to think sleep or video gaming would override many things in life. Life for him is about to change! ha ha ha. I can’t wait!

Well I made a blog for my business too. Link to the right. –>

I’m still working on that new couch. David doesn’t think we need it, or rather he doesn’t want one. He says his is fine. I say we could get $200 off of craigslist for it! Some other bachelor out there is wanting a big, green couch don’t you think? Of course.

Ok. I’m going to attempt to get to sleep . . .

I love it!

Well I just left my client’s house. They have a 6-month old English Mastiff named “Cash”. He’s so darling. 90-lbs of slobber and clumsiness. This is Cash and his mommy, Tana. He just graduated from his basic training and will join a class soon!

Alright It’s About Time . . .

Well I’m sorry it’s taken me so long. I’m trying to keep up with my baby website too — www.babygirlgreer.com — and well I’m just falling behind!

We plan to have Christmas at the Greer house. Yes. You are all invited. Oh wait, I mean this applies to family members reading this. Sorry I don’t want all of you there, even tho I’m sure if you are reading this I love you anyway . . .

Due to this fact, i.e., the Xmas Factor, I have been dreaming of making my house looking nice and not so do-you-like?-it’s-my-husband’s-bachelor-furniture. Like my mother, I get these wild ideas. Lucky for David, however, I don’t have the means to run out and start remodeling the place on a whim.

Anyway. I hope to have a new couch soon. We found one for a great deal and it’s really beautiful. Italian leather — dog *and* kid friendly! What more could I ask for? I know. Seriously, what are we waiting for?! Hey, but I did get picture frames for many of my favorite wedding pictures and I actually had them printed and they’re framed! Check it out! Doesn’t that look great?!! I think so. I mean the wedding was only, what, 10 months ago!

Well it’s been raining here all day. I love it. Our yard is actually looking good. While there are still mounds of doggie doo I’ve been cleaning it up (yeah like a dog-mama should) and well our grass is actually holding up great to doggie paw traffic. Love that St. Augustine!

I got my vacuum back today. Trevor had decided to pee on it the other day. Yeah, those dang terriers. I took it in to the shop to get professionally cleaned. Yes, for those that know me quite well you all know that I don’t own a vacuum you can get at Wal-Mart or Target. Yes. I spent a shiny penny on this German vacuum called a Miele about 3 1/2 years ago. I must say it’s actually the best vacuum I’ve ever had. It’s great. It was rated high on an allergy-sufferers website. That is actually where I learned of it. So, downside is that I have to find a Miele dealer to get bags and for servicing on items such as when your dog pees inside your vacuum. It’s all spic-n-span now and cleans just as good as new! I know you all wanted this long story about my vacuum, but my vacuum is my pride and joy. I had withdrawls from not having it here for 4 days. Ok . . . enough on that . . .

I’ll let you all come back later. Maybe I’ll have pictures of a new couch to show you! Wouldn’t that be the best??!!! Root for me. Add me to your prayer list.
